End of script output before Apache 2.4 Error headers

Question

We have just upgraded to Apache 2.4 from version 2.2, and our fastcgi applications now cause the "End of script before headers" error message.

All applications and libraries that are all in C have been recompiled using the latest libraries from fastcgi.com, and they worked great before the update.

Any clues as to the cause of the problem will be appreciated.

As it turned out, the problem was in the shared object file, which was not in the correct version. For some odd reason, this error did not appear in the log.

So, the question should be closed.
