Target folder with 64-bit program files with the latest Install Shield LE

Previous versions of Install Shield Limited Edition do not support the creation of 64-bit packages, but it is rumored to do it (see comments in the accepted answer here ), like Visual Studio 2013.

I am using VS 2013 with the latest Install Shield LE, and I still cannot figure out how to make it work. My installation directory is below [ProgramFiles64Folder]. I also saw my documentation saying that I need to set the property "Template Summary" on x64in the "General Information" view, but this property is not. MSI is still deployed in the "Program Files (x86)" folder.

Does anyone know how to get the MSI created using Install Shield for Visual Studio 2013 to deploy to the 64-bit Program Files folder?

Although I could not understand how to do this in the Install Shield LE client (and could not get help from Flexera support, because it is a free product), I figured out how to do it.

As pointed out in my question, there is no “Template Summary” property in the client user interface:

However, I found that this property exists in the .ISL file. Opening this in a text editor and replacing intelwith one x64works:

<template>x64;1033</template>
