Failed to install Silent SQL Server 2014 using Access Denied in tempfile

The name basically describes it.

Things I checked:

  • verified username on a remote Powerhell session (to make sure everything runs with the permissions that I expect from them)
  • checked permissions for the described file. Expected user has full control over the file.
  • deleted the .tmp file and rebooted. It still fails to install.
  • RDP'd on the server as the user who runs Powershell. I hacked into PowersheISE and ran the unattended manual installation command. It was installed flawlessly .

I feel this may be a problem with the way WinRM interacts with permissions, but this is just a complete assumption. I am not an IT staff and I am not sure where to go to try to solve this problem.

Below I have included the command used, the configuration file used and the detailed error log. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, please let me know.
