Google Play version for Android Studio

Now I'm going to Android Studio from Eclipse. Adding GPServices to my project was pretty straight forward in Eclipse. Just make sure that the latest SDK was installed in the SDK manager and copied the library into my workspace from the SDK.

With AS, I have to enter the following line into my build.gradle module:

compile 'com.google.android.gms:play-services:6.5.87

How should I know 6.5.87 is the correct version? My SDK manager says I have Google Play Rev. 22.22 looks different than 6.5.87.

I got 6.5.87 from some documents that did not explain what this means.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
