In JavaScript, I try to take a given user input and guess the 3 most likely words that can complete a user (incomplete) entered word. Assumptions are based on past user data. I am working on this here in this JSFiddle .
The structure that I create to record custom past entries is a modified Radix Tree (AKA Patricia Trie) :
