The "vs-mda-remote test" remote agent configuration check error fails with the error "Error: insufficient data"

I follow the steps in accordance with “Installing build tools for iOS” on msdn https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn771551.aspx to configure the iOS build. On my Mac, I get the following error when running the vs-mda-remote test command.

Troubleshooting: - to make sure that there are iOS profiles and xCode developer certificates - I tested that I can deploy a test application for the iPad. - repeat the installation and check each message to find a failure, no - the regenerated server Cert and clientCert several times
