Is forced hardware acceleration possible when transitioning CSS widths?

I noticed a sharp lagging performance when I change the width or mark of elements with CSS transitions.

In any case, for forced hardware acceleration? Is there a way to use transform properties to achieve smoothed similarities?

Not really. Hardware acceleration depends on many factors, none of them are running javascript.
