How to set camera properties when using CameraPreviewImageSource from Lumia Imaging SDK using WinRT on Windows Phone 8.1

I need to capture a WriteableBitmap from a camera preview video on Windows Phone 8.1. WinRT application.

I found that the demos of the Lumia Imaging SDK have a great demo. The real-time filter demo for Windows and Windows 8.1. It works the way I need it.

But there is one big problem. I can’t find how I can use VideoDeviceController etc., so I can request camera functions and manually change focus, etc.

For me, the sample really looks completely useless, since there is no way to concentrate anywhere with this demo application (the demo for Windows Phone 8.0 has focal functionality)

Is it possible to use CameraPreviewImageSource from the Lumia Imaging SDK and still control the focus of the camera, etc.

I solved my problem!

Simply:

VideoDeviceController vdc = VideoDeviceController)_cameraPreviewImageSource.VideoDeviceController;

and then I can call something like:

await vdc.FocusControl.FocusAsync();
