Prevent "skipping" in a full-screen web application such as Google Maps,

Chrome on Mac has a bug that will probably be fixed in version 42 41: Switching the tab affects "overscroll" (aka elastic rubber band)

tl; dr:

  • Chrome on Mac has this annoying "superpronik", for example, the effect of rubber tape on the entire document.
  • This can be prevented using CSS (SO post).
  • When you go to http://wikibudgets.org/sankey , the overscroll function is disabled - try scrolling to enlarge the chart, the document remains in place.
  • when you switch to any other tab and then return, the overscroll effect is no longer disabled - try scrolling to enlarge the chart, the document jumps up and down.

5. The Google Maps website does not suffer from this error, so there should be a workaround.

Any idea or advice is welcome.
