Bash crash on cygwin add_item ("\ ?? \ C: \ cygwin", "/", ...)

I am trying to run applications in a Windows cluster. I get random crashes like a roar, but more often than not it works. I suspected it was a famous forking issue , but rebooting cygwin did not help.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I have an explanation for the cygwin error supporting guys (thanks Corinna):

This is not a permutation problem. Apparently the problem is concurrency sort. Pulling a shared memory area for each user, two or more processes are trying to configure the same mount points.

. . , , - , , , shmem, EPERM .
