How to use HDR with custom applications based on AVFoundation?

I use the structure AVFoundationto create a custom camera application.

Is it possible to capture a photo using HDR for a custom camera application, i.e. HDR, is displayed somewhere in the api camera?

HDR is unique to Apple's Camera.app and is not available to developers through the API.
