OSMDroid Map Download Complete

Question

Is there any way to detect when OSMDroid MapView has finished loading the map? I want to know when OSMDroid finishes drawing tiles and overlays in plain sight.

Perhaps a less difficult solution was found without requiring a new class definition to check if the OSM MapView was loaded but now this question is probably what you are looking for.
