Blood pressure monitor from iOS / Android applications

I like to know the concept of blood pressure monitoring applications in iOS / Android stores. Does he really use any sensors to monitor BP, or is it a fun app to display random values? What is the concept of this? I traveled a lot, but no luck. If anyone knows share it with me.

I think the applications you mentioned do not measure blood pressure, but heart rate. A smartphone cannot measure blood pressure without an external device.
