Stop IntelliJ polluting project tool window with module names?

Question

At the end of this question, is there a way in IntelliJ to disable the display of the full name of the module .iml [shown in bold and in square brackets] next to the folder name when it's just the full version? This is unreasonably noisy in a big project ...
