Shortcut for copying Ctrl-C does not work in Android Studio

I can copy text from other programs and paste it into Android Studio. I can right click and copy the selected text. I can cut the text and paste it with a shortcut. But when using the combination Ctrl + C to copy text, I often can not copy. This is a very nasty problem. Does anyone know how to solve it?

If restarting AS does not fix the problem, you can try the Invalid Cache / Restart option. This sometimes fixes such problems.

Updating the Android Studio and Invalidate Caches / Restart options does not work for me. But Paste Simple or Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift+ Vwill work when you try to paste something from the outside. Try using the copy link or Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift+ Cand paste or Ctrl+ V. This works for me.
