Is there a way to backup Liberty server deployment on Bluemix?

I am deploying the freedom packet server on Bluemix, which contains my application.

I want to update my application, but before doing this, I wonder what is the best way to backup what I currently have? If my update is bad, I would like to restore the previous version of my application.

In other words, what is the best practice or recommended way to update a web application running on a Liberty server in Bluemix. I just keep a zip backup that I clicked on Bluemix and restore it if something goes wrong? Or are there management options provided by Bluemix for backup and recovery?
