Perhaps if replace/overwritemy document with tagged in RPubs?

I do not think there is a direct way to update the file. But this is what you can do:

You can delete the file and upload a new one and insert the same pool at boot time. If you do, the file URL will not change.

If you again select the Knit in HTML option for the same file, you can republish it. In this case, it has the option "Update existing". If its selected file is updated without changing the URL.
