IOS App Today not added to physical device

Question

I am creating a widget today for my http://budgt.ch application , as some users have requested quick access to key functions.

The extension (preliminary) works fine on iOS simulators installed as follows:

1) install the latest container application 2) install the extension with 'today' as the container

However: I cannot get the extension to appear on the physical device (I am currently testing the iPhone 4).

• xcode says: Build successfull
• The extension does not appear in today's view.

any ideas what could be wrong?

Are you sure the deployment target for expansion is less than or equal to the system version of the device?
