Emails connected to Safari

Question

Some characters in my font connect to neighboring characters. This behavior is present in Safari 7.0.4 and Chrome 35.0.x; it is not in Firefox. Below is a screenshot of the behavior. And here is his script .

This problem is that "F" and "i's" are sticking together. I can prevent this in Chrome, using -webkit-font-feature-settings: "liga" 0; which disables shared ligatures , but it does not affect Safari (this is what I am trying to “fix”).
