Configuring Histogram Break in JFreeChart

Question

I use JFreeChart to draw histograms, populating the HistogramDataset object with my data and using ChartFactory.createHistogram (). However, so far I have not been able to find anything in the documentation on how to establish histogram breaks. Am I missing something, or does JFreeChart nog offer this function?

To illustrate what I mean with gaps, see the following two histograms, created from the same data with the same number of boxes, but with different gaps. Please note that the shapes of the distribution vary greatly between the two histograms, so it is important to be able to control gaps.
