Is it possible to use Kibana + Elasticsearch without Logstash?

I'm kind of new to Logstash. We have an outdated web application that sends logs directly to the Redis server in JSON format. Now I want to display these logs in the web interface.
 What I read about Elasticsearch and Kibana , I am really impressed with their functionality.
Can I feed logs from redis to a direct elastics search and then visualize them with Kibana?

Yes, Kibana can display any information stored in ElasticSearch indexes.
