What happens if I git delete a remote branch that has a child that has not been merged with it

I get rid of the development branch (in purple) and has all the child branches from the master (in tweet) and merge for mastering. the branch of development is branched from the master. If there are development branches that have not yet been merged, can they be merged for management later, after the remote development branch has been removed? What is the fate of the leaf (mustard) branch.
