How many producers can I use to write one topic

I have a web application that posts messages to the Kafka theme. There are many examples of this application (200), and each of them contains its own manufacturer Kafka.

Questions:

  • Is there any upper bound on the number of producers per topic?
  • Does the number of manufacturers affect the performance of Kafka? If so, how?
  • What is the best practice for manufacturers? One synchronous producer for each application, asynchronous producer or user pool of synchronization producers?
