Upload a text file to Google Drive using Android

Edited: I set my text to a line as follows:

String text = ("Hello!");

I want to turn this into a text file and then upload to a Google Drive folder. I tried the code below, but it is not complete, so I can not say what errors appear.

I am using the Quick Launch demo on Google Drive and trying to adapt it to what I need. Link: https://github.com/googledrive/android-quickstart

How can I call finalResultText, which is in another MainActivity class, so I can make it into a text file that will be loaded into the Google Drive folder?
