Google+ email sender image

I would like all emails to be sent from my server (for example, mail@example.com ) to arrive in recipient mailboxes with a custom sender image used in Apple Mail and in Google mailboxes.

I created a new Google+ account, linked and checked my site (downloading the .html file, you know;]), but still the emails do not contain the image of my Google+ profile as the sender image.

I assume this is because I am not sending emails from the new gmail address that I created on Google+. I hope someone knows how to get around this, and Google+ treats any emails coming from my domain as a new Google+ account.
