WordPress theme theme automatically shuts off

Question

I have a custom menu with over 100 wordpress elements. The problem is that when I select the location of the theme and save it, the location of the theme is not automatically checked.

it is apparently limited by server configurations. I tweeked max_input_varsup to 8000 but no luck.

I still cannot save the menu.

If I remove one item from the menu, it works fine.

Has anyone had this problem before or knew a solution?

Do you have suhosin installed on your server? If so, you should change

suhosin.post.max_vars suhosin.request.max_vars

directives in php.ini
