How can I calculate the Failed Acceptance Rate and False Recognition Rate?

How can I calculate FAR and FRR for authentication device? (I suppose this is using biometrics). Otherwise, are there any statistics on the subject that are readily available?

The biometric system can operate in two modes that must be distinguished during the assessment: verification and identification.

In verification mode, the user presents his identity, and the biometric device verifies the identity (imagine that you are going to customs and you present your ID with a face image, the officer checks your real face and the image on the identifier).
