VMware Fusion 7.1.1 Workaround for Windows 10 SVGA

Question

When playing Windows 10 Preview in VMware Fusion 7.1.1 with 3D acceleration settings open on Mac, windows created using WPF look weird. I think this is due to the VMware Tools (VMware SVGA) graphics driver. Do you know a workaround?

• From VM Remove VMware tools.
• Shutdown VM
• Change VM settings on Windows 10
• Restart Windows VM
• Delete all files in c: \ windows \ softwaredistribution \ download
• Run wuauclt.exe / updatenow file from CMD as administrator
• Go to Windows Update and Windows 10 started to boot.
