Is it safe to remove system.img from android sdk?

I realized that there are 10 of them in my sdk. They make my sdk very large, because each of these images is about 1 GB. Can I damage the development environment if I delete some of them? I am using android studio btw

These images contain various options for Android emulators. You can remove some of them to reduce your SDK. But I highly recommend you do this from the SDK manager. There you can find everything and delete that you really do not need: enter image description here
