Receive images from an FTP server using Google Apps Script

Question

I need to get some images that are stored on an FTP server using Google Apps Script

Images are only available as FTP

ftp://user:[e-mail]/path2photos/photo123.jpg

Any ideas?

Unable to execute outgoing FTP requests from Google Apps Script (there is a similar limitation from App Engine).

You can either find the HTTP interface for the server (some sites offer both HTTP and FTP), or upload files via an FTP client, then upload to Google Drive and then access these files.

Remember to find / register an item in Track Release .
