I read on [this site ( http://javaforge.com/project/HGE ) that I need to “register” to download the Eclipse plugin for Mercurial. I signed up, but nothing happens. When I try to download the plugin by going to Help => Install new software and typing in the address of the site ( http://cbes.javaforge.com/update ), Eclipse says it was unable to connect, "Site contact error: no site found ... "(I cannot enter my password / username).
Then I read on this site that the plugin is also available here:
http://mercurialeclipse.eclipselabs.org.codespot.com/hg.wiki/update_site/stable
The question is, I don’t understand how the password is “Software Site”, which should work with Eclipse. When should I ask for a password / username during this process?
