Install BLAS on Mac OS X Yosemite

Question

I try to install BLAS on my Mac, but every time I run make, I get this error (link shown below). I tried to follow the instructions of this website :

gfortran -O3 -c isamax.f -o isamax.o
make: gfortran: No such file or directory
make: *** [isamax.o] Error 1

I have no idea what this means or how to fix it, so any help would be appreciated. I am also trying to install CBLAS and LAPACK, so any advice / instructions for this would be good if you knew about a good source ... Everything that I have found so far is rather confusing. I also tried installing ATLAS, but it did not work.
