I am testing the functionality of Azure Application Insights alerts. It seems to be either buggy, or I don’t know how to use it.
If I create a new warning based on the "Server Exceptions" metric, it looks like it works once, and then never again. Once it fires, it seems to go into the "Active" state, where there is an orange triangle with !. See image below. I created a new one that I did not run, and, as seen in the image, it has a green circle with a tick.
This view implies that the warning will not fire again until the warning is “confirmed”, which is not a bad idea, but I don’t see how to do it.
