IBeacon and WatchO2: Does CoreLocation work with a Watch or iOS device?

Does WatchO2 CoreLocation work with a Watch or iOS device?

I made an example application using WatchOS 1 and an iOS 8 device and noticed that the CoreLocation data that I received from the watch extension to get proximity with iBeacon seemed to get from the iOS device (when I get Watch closer to iBeacon, proximity data don't change anything, but instead it changes when I find the iOS device closer or further). However, with the introduction of WatchOS 2, I would like to get the proximity of the watch, not the iOS device .

Is this possible in an os 2 watch ?

Bluetooth doesn't seem to be available directly from WatchOS 2. Therefore, the answer to my question is: no due to API limitations.

Comment if otherwise.

It is possible to use the connection infrastructure to access the phone data, but it differs from the one I was in (direct access to BLE equipment for viewing)

I understand that with a preview of watchkit released at WWDC 2015, it is now possible to use CoreLocation for the range for beacons on the watch itself. I have not tested it myself yet, so I will go into detail with others.
