R shiny: how to debug a deployed application?

I created a brilliant R application and it works fine on my machine. It is also successfully deployed on shinyapps.io server. However, when I try to click one of the buttons to complete a task, the screen goes gray (freezes). The same task is performed when I run my application locally. I do not see where the error is, because it runs successfully on my local machine. Any ideas how I can debug this?

Apparently, this was a memory problem, 500 MB of memory was not enough for this application. I changed the instance size to medium (default for free users) to xx large, and it worked.
