Hue on UIToolBar with translucency - false

Question

I am trying to set the hue color of a bar (in the interface builder) to UIToolbarwhich is translucentset to off. No matter what color I choose, the toolbar is always white in the emulator (it changes color in IB). I need to set the translucency to true in order to have UIToolbarthe right shade of the stroke. From an Apple document, I haven’t noticed anywhere that it barTintColordoesn’t work when translucentset to false.

It seems that this is only a problem in the interface designer, the Bar Tint Color setting in the code works, can anyone confirm?
