Google Compute Engine: Increasing Instance Memory / Processor

I would like to know if it is possible to increase instance processor / memory in Google Compute Engine? I am currently running a small instance (g1-small), and I would like to go to n1-highmem-2.

This is currently not possible on the Google Cloud Platform. At the moment, you can close your copy and create a new instance with a permanent copy of the old disk attached as described fooobar.com/questions/451783 / ... .
