Genymotion "cannot load virtual boxing engine" in Windows 10 and Virtualbox error "Result code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)"

Question

I recently upgraded to Windows 10, Genymotion doesn't seem to work. It says: "Unable to load VirtualBox Engine."

Now I have done some research and all the solutions offered for removing a host-only network from Virtual Box settings. Well, that I do not have the networks listed there. And the one that I found in the Network and Sharing Center cannot be deleted, and when I try to create a new one on a virtual box, it fails.

Even a clean installation did not solve the problem

genymotion.exe → Properties → Compatibility tab → In compatibility mode, select the Run this program in compatibility mode and selected Windows 8 check box → check Run this program as administrator → Ok

I installed the Genymotion + VBox package and had the same problem. Working in compatibility mode did not work for me, but it happened:

1 - Remove VBox. Install the latest version.

2 - Download Genymotion without VBox. Install Genymotion.

remove Genymotion and VM VirtualBox and download the full package not from here

In the old version, there are some problems with Windows10 that were resolved in the latest update.

I always load on this site ( https://www.genymotion.com ), in which I always encountered an error in the file (I can’t load the virtual box). But after I read your comment, I decided to look for the latest genymotion and virtualbox from another site. And it works great. Thanks.

I just solved the problem. You will need to remove both Virtual Box and GenyMotion from your PC. You will need to download the full package (Genymotion + Virtual Box) from the Genymotion website.

Just install both from one package. And this will solve your problem (:

I solved this by removing Virtual Box and GenyMotion and erasing all the Virtual Box and GenyMotion files from my computer and downloading the full package from https://www.genymotion.com
