Drop To Frame is sometimes disabled, sometimes not

I often use the Eclipse Debgugging Drop To Frame function, but sometimes it is not available when debugging. I found another question about SO and the Eclipse Help Record , which says:

Note. This command is available only if the current virtual machine supports the transition to the frame, and the selected stack frame is not the top frame or frame in the native method.

My problem is that when debugging the same function (it is not the top stack of the stack, and neither he nor his parent method are native), although there are three more levels above). Sometimes I find that Drop to Frame is turned on, and I sometimes find that it is turned off.

Do you know more restrictions on Drop To Frame, what could be the reason that it is not available? Note. I use the same JVM all the time, and I can’t imagine that sometimes it supports Drop To Frame, and sometimes not.

If someone has the same problem: since we switched from an earlier version of Eclipse (I think Luna) to Neon, the problem no longer arises. Perhaps this was a bug that was fixed in newer versions of Eclipse and only occurred occasionally.
