Fabricator: works on https, does not load images. Firefox reports blocking unencrypted content

Fabricator: runs on top of https, does not load images. Firefox reports blocking unencrypted content.

If I click on this little shield next to “https” and select “Disable protection now” using the “Settings” button, everything looks fine.

I added https: // to phabricator.production-uri and phabricator.allowed-uris with no luck.

Found:

bin/config set phabricator.base-uri https://<your-base-url> bin/phd restart

I previously added the https url in phabricator.production-uri and phabricator.allowed-uris (I don't know if this was important).

Warning. At some point, I was able to complete the login screen processing. Probably because I did not run bin/phd restart . If this happens, restore phabricator.base-uri to its previous value.

The same problem occurred after installing the TLS certificate. Setting the base-uri option did not work for me, nor did it produce or allow the use of uri parameters.

It was decided to set the security.alternate-file-domain parameter to https-url, as described here: https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/configuring_file_domain/

This may not be the optimal solution, but it is not clear what else to do.

My setup: A pre-configured instance of Bitnami Phabricator by AWS.

In addition to setting up phabricator.base-uri, you may also need to modify security.alternate-file-domain to use HTTPS. Read https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/configuring_file_domain/ to learn more about this setting.

Alternatively, you can simply delete the setting by running bin/config delete security.alternate-file-domain .
