Visual Studio 2015 lacks the SDK for the Windows Universal App Platform (UAP)

I get this error when creating a generic C # Windows application and got this error. The link is dead, and I could not find the answer in other threads or the link to download the missing SDK enter image description here

I already installed Visual Studio Tools for Universal Windows Apps (14.0.23121.00 D14OOB), and it did not change anything.

I had the same problem. I suggest you repair or change the visual studio. You will need to connect to enable visual studio to download the required files. He is really strange and annoyed that he has to do this. All necessary files should have been included in the ISO.

You can also try downgrading the target platform.

  • Unload the project to edit the solution file (it is already unloaded when an error occurs)
  • Change TargetPlatformVersion to the minimum or another that you set.

TargetPlatformVersion: 10.0.10240.0
TargetPlatformMinVersion: 10.0.10240.0
