How to clean up Liferay files and server disk space

I am working on a Liferay system where I downloaded almost 400 GB of data. Due to some inevitable reason, I deleted all the files from Liferay.
But when I check on the disk, I still see that the disk is occupying almost the same data as I loaded.

How can I delete files from the document library, can anyone suggest how to clean the disk?
I want to download this data again.
