Best way to share Github request templates between projects?

Github recently announced the addition of extraction request templates . This is an awesome feature that has been very popular in the community for some time.

These templates are added by adding a special file with a name PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.mdto the project root directory or directory .github. I have several projects for which I would like to use the same template. What is the best way to synchronize these patterns between projects?

(Git submodules are the only thing I can think of, but it seems pretty complicated and complicated for such a simple use case).

I tried to link a common template repository using the git submodule, but this did not work for the pull request template.

@ austin-york, do you know any other techniques or tips for sharing sample query patterns between multiple repositories?

https://help.github.com/en/articles/creating-a-default-community-health-file-for-your-organization  solves this elegantly, but is only available for 2.17 years.
