I did a study in which I changed the video playback speed using the JavaScript attribute playbackRatefor .5and 2, out of the natural playback speed.

I would like to know how Javascript changes the video playback speed.

For example, when the playback speed changes to 2, does this cause the frames to be deleted from the video?

What happens when playback speed slows down to .5? Will frames be added in this case? How are frames added? How is audio stretched / cropped?
