Installing a new GLIBC while keeping the old version

Is there a way to install the new version of GLIBC locally in a folder? Can I add my library paths to LD_LIBRARY_PATHlater without interfering with system libraries?

I did not find such a solution. For me, this means that for this purpose, the entire system that is not needed should be updated.

PS: Someone said something here , but without any details.
