Grails g: tags do not support doller ($) sign in regex for template? What for?

Question

Grails g:tagsdoes not support checking the inline template using the dollar sign ($). You can check the field using jQuery. But is there a solution for native support for g:tagthe dollar sign with the grail?

It supports $escape character \, so you need to use it as\$

Example <g:field ............. />

<g:field name="abc" type="text" pattern=".*([.,/])\$" />
