Google Container Kernel: Package creation stuck in Pending status

Question

Tried to recreate the GKE cluster to try Kubernetes 1.2.0

Cluster came up right, but the first pod deployment got stuck in the "Pending":

NAME            READY     STATUS    RESTARTS   AGE
operation-daily   0/1       Pending   0          6m 

They executed the same script that were used for 1.1.8 (successfully).

I tried several times - no luck.

How can I diagnose a problem? Is it possible to return to version 1.1.8?
