Is the SharePoint 2013 REST API fully supported in SharePoint Online (Office 365)?

Is the SharePoint 2013 REST API fully supported in SharePoint Online (part of Office 365)?

Assuming I have permissions to access REST API calls for a SharePoint subscription, can I safely assume that all of the SP2013 REST URLs and resources are available to me?

PS - I know one example where SharePoint has functionality that is not available in the SharePoint 2013 API - OData $ batch request option . I'm interested in the opposite direction in which SP2013 services may not be available in SharePoint Online.

Yes, you can access all the SharePoint 2013 URLs and resources from your online tenant SP.

Basically, an OData query does not support querying a URL field. In addition, Microsoft is releasing a new framework that supports all SharePoint operations. See also: SharePoint Framework
