Add border to UIImage inside UITextView

I am trying to add a border to UIImage, I have, not UIImageView.

Here is my code:

let image1 = NSTextAttachment()

image1.image = UIImage(named: "image.jpg")

I have UIImageone that displays well in a text element, but now I would like to add a border or registration to the image so that the text is not so close to the image!

You can easily use Core Graphics for this.

You just need to re-draw the image in a wider context to take into account the width of the border - and shift the image across the width of the frame.

Something like this should do the trick:
