Ubuntu 15.10 elasticsearch 2.3 Failed to connect to local port 9200: connection refused

I just installed the same version of elasticsearch, 2.3, on OSX El Capitan and Ubuntu 15.10. The command curl -XGET 'http://localhost:9200/'works fine on OSX, but on Ubuntu 15.10 this error is given to me:

root@levilinode:~# curl -XGET 'http://localhost:9200/'
curl: (7) Failed to connect to localhost port 9200: Connection refused

Any attempts to fix this using all Linux related messages about setting in a file /etc/elasticsearch/elasticsearch.ymlwere not crowned with parameters network.bind_hostand / or network.hostbefore 0.0.0.0or 127.0.0.1.

How can I make it work?
